Working as a waiter in the UAE restaurant industry requires a high level of commitment, professionalism, and an in-depth understanding of the job responsibilities. Waiters are expected to provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately and efficiently, serving food and drinks promptly, and ensuring that tables are clean and tidy.

In addition to these basic duties, waiters are also responsible for upselling menu items to increase revenue for the restaurant. They must be knowledgeable about the menu offerings and able to make recommendations based on customers’ preferences. Waiters must also be skilled at handling customer complaints diplomatically, resolving issues quickly to avoid any negative impact on the restaurant’s reputation.
