Job Responsibilities:
- Greet guests, escort them to their tables, and provide a warm and welcoming dining experience.
- Accurately record guests’ food and drink orders, answer questions about the menu, and offer suggestions or recommendations.
- Ensure tables are properly set with clean utensils, glassware, and condiments before guests arrive.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately, following proper etiquette and presentation standards.
- Pay attention to guests’ needs throughout the meal, such as refilling drinks, clearing empty plates, and accommodating special requests.
- Present bills, process payments, and handle cash or credit card transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Assist in clearing and resetting tables for the next guests, and ensure the dining area is clean and tidy.
- Maintain effective communication with kitchen staff and other waitstaff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and served promptly.
