& weekly working hours are 40 hours approximately
Education:
The people must possess secondary school graduation certificate with apprentice certificate. Bricklayer Red Seal certificate, fall arrest protection training course. Also, having good English spoken skills.
Experience:
Applicants will have more than 5 years of relevant experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Applicants must have;
- Prepare and lay brick/ concrete bricks & structural tiles
- Also, lay stone & bricks, masonry units
- Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required
- Install/ lay firebricks to line industrial chimneys & smokestacks
- Good communication skills are required
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specifications using hand & power tools
- Moreover, to build residential/ commercial chimneys and fireplaces
- Lay radial bricks to build masonry shells of industrial chimneys
- Build patios, garden walls and various decorative installations
- Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
- Restore, clean/ paint existing masonry structures
- Supervise other workers & estimate materials
- Use of relevant tools and equipment in efficient manner
- Handling heavy loads & should be physically fit to perform accurate work
- Must have valid driving license
